Welcome to

Bayview Dental

At Bayview Dental we are invested in building lifetime relationships with our patients and their health. We are committed to helping our patients achieve the highest level of oral health in an atmosphere of trust and compassion. Our extensive expertise in general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry ensures we can address any of your dental needs. Your comfort and care are our top priorities.

Your First Visit

All new patients begin with a comprehensive exam and x-rays. Your first visit will include a complete review of your medical and dental history, an examination of your teeth and soft tissues and we will take all necessary x-rays.

Following this, your dentist will discuss any findings and address any concerns or desires you have with your smile.

Dental Emergencies

If you have an existing concern that brings you to us, we will discuss the findings with you from your exam and x-rays and discuss treatment. If you accept treatment, we can proceed with or start treatment the same day. We will provide a plan to follow-up to address your short and long term needs.

Cleanings

If you would like a cleaning, the office will schedule one for you during your first visit to come back at your earliest convenience. We do not offer same-day cleanings at your first appointment. Why? Your examination and x-rays dictate what type of cleaning you may require. X-rays are how cavities are detected and can point out areas to watch.

Conditions like periodontal disease or other dental concerns affect what type of cleaning may be required and if there are pre-existing issues that might require attention first. We do not want to cause more harm by prematurely performing a cleaning without assessing your mouth first and personalizing your care accordingly.
