Dr. Hoffman has over 30 years of experience as a General Dentist. He graduated with honors from The University of Maryland School of Dentistry and started his family and his professional career here in the Sunshine State. Later, the doctor and his family moved to Santa Fe, NM, where he delivered quality, preventive, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as emergency dental care.
Dr. Hoffman and his wife, a printmaking & mixed media artist, have been married for 27 years and have two daughters, both of whom have studied here in Florida. A few years ago, he and his wife returned “home” to the Sarasota area, a place they visited throughout many years of happy family vacations and one they always held dear in their hearts.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from SUNY Binghamton, Dr. Hoffman went on to attend dental school in Baltimore, MD, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was awarded memberships to the Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society and to Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. During his senior year, he completed an externship with the United States Coast Guard in Honolulu, HI, where he provided dental services to stationed members.
A graduate of Meharry Medical College in Nashville in 2008 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Williams served her general practice residency at Coler Goldwater Specialty Hospital in New York City in 2008. Her training included rotations at Bellevue Hospital in oral surgery, pediatrics, and cosmetic dentistry as well as a rotation at New York University for implantology, cosmetic dentistry and anesthesia. Dr. Williams completed an Implant course at the Great Lakes Institute. She became certified in Botox, Dermafillers and Invisalign in 2017 and 6 Months Smiles in 2018.
Dr. Williams has many years of experience working in private dentistry, corporate dentistry as well as public health. She relocated from Hartford, Conn., where she served the community as the Dental Director for a federally funded health center. She prides herself in giving very thorough, comprehensive dental care with a gentle touch.
In her spare time, she volunteers on dental mission trips and Give Kids A Smile Day, supports Habitat for Humanity, and attends various continuing education courses in institutions such as Nova Southeastern University and University of Florida.
